Late Smt. Clara Kaul was a person with a determined vision for the development of children by way of education. A renowned social worker, her lifelong sacrifices and yeomen service to whomever she came across were a clear reflection of her practiced values of honesty and respect for all.

Her prime focus was to provide basic education to the poor and more so to the children hailing from the fisher folk community in Versova. Her perseverance concretized into the establishment of Children Welfare Centre High School, followed by Children Welfare Centre’s Junior College of Commerce, Clara’s Degree College of Commerce, Clara’s College of Education and Children Welfare Centre Law college.
